Description
The York S1-6HK06501546 Heat Kit without Breaker is an electrical heating component used to supply additional heat to HVAC systems. It is powered at 460 V to provide 15 kW of electrical heat output, generally by means of resistance heating elements, which are energized when more heat is needed. It is applied to air handlers and rooftop units where electric heat is required to complement the heating stages or keep the setpoint temperatures cooler. The heat kit, which was part of the heating section, provided regulated thermal energy to the airstream that assists in maintaining the required level.
