Description
The York S1-6918-3211/B Drain Pan is a device that is designed to be used in heating and ventilation systems with a view of controlling condensation as well as other forms of excess water. This drain pan is made of either plastic or metal so it does not rust. Its main purpose is to intercept and channel excess water and protect the most sensitive components of the system against water ingress and water harm. The drain pan operates by receiving moisture formed by the condensation procedure or any dripping if it is within the HVAC unit. The collected water is then drained through the drain line for it to be properly disposed, of to avoid accumulation of the water that may cause damage to other areas or interfere with other equipment.
