Description
The York S1-5994063 Pressure Switch is a safety device that measures and reacts to low-pressure situations in a refrigeration system. They work at a narrow pressure range of between 7 and 22 PSI and have a vital role in protecting the system from damage that may be caused by low refrigerant charges. This pressure switch has a sensing device that provides continuous monitoring of pressure in the refrigeration system. When the pressure gets below the set 7 PSI cut-in point, the switch turns on, either giving a low-pressure signal or turning the system off to protect the compressor. When the pressure goes high above the 22 PSI of the cut-out point, the switch is turned off.
