Description
The York S1-1950-001 36″ Thermopile is a temperature-powered electrical generator that converts heat from a pilot flame into low-voltage electrical output for gas control circuits. Connected thermocouple junctions produce electrical energy through continuous exposure to flame heat, supplying power without an external electrical source. Positioned adjacent to the pilot burner and it communicates with the gas valve, pilot assembly, and safety controls to maintain burner operation within HVAC systems. Continuous electrical generation supports control circuit operation during heating cycles. Its operations support low-voltage power generation, coordinated safety control, stable burner operation and system performance.
