Description
The York International S1-031-03896-000 Ignition Control Circuit Board is an electronic control unit used to control the ignition sequence and safety check-ups in gas-fired HVAC systems. It receives inputs via temperature sensors and flame sensors, opens the gas valve and the ignitor of the spark or hot surface, and controls the flame presence to maintain the correct combustion. It is placed in the control compartment, which includes gas furnaces, and packaged heating, and it is connected to the wiring harness and field sensors. Its coordinated control facilitates its reliable start-up, safe operation and consistent heat delivery.
