Description
The York S1-02632588006 Limit Switch is a safety switch meant to prevent HVAC equipment from overheating. This is done by checking the temperature in the system and sounding a buzzer or stopping the equipment if its temperature go beyond the maximum of 180°F. This minimizes danger to the entire system and provides a safety measure to the system. Limit switches are typically installed in chillers, boilers, air handlers and other HVAC systems. They are even more essential in the systems that could degrade at high temperature for instance the refrigeration or any system that involves combustion.
