York S1-026-47771-000 Fan Guard is used to cover the fan section of HVAC systems to keep moving blades from touching the user and to keep air flowing through the system. It is constructed of 26″ diameter, and black to create a barrier that assists in protecting equipment and personnel while allowing air to flow. It does this by keeping a safe distance between the rotating fan and external access areas. It is installed, over the fan opening in outdoor/condenser units and fastened to the unit housing when the unit is set up while maintaining proper airflow and providing protection.
