The York S1-02545294000 Thermo Expansion Valve TXV For Evaporator 3/8 Inch X 5/8 Inch ODF is used in refrigeration circuits to control the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator to maintain the correct cooling balance in HVAC systems. It operates by measuring the temperature and pressure of the suction line to adjust the valve position to allow accurate superheat control, and uniform distribution of refrigerant.
