The York S1-02545292000 Thermo Expansion Valve (TXV) provides precise refrigerant flow control for HVAC systems. It has 3/8″ × 5/8″ ODF connections that control the volume of refrigerant to flow to the evaporator coil depending on temperature, and pressure to maximize heat absorption and optimal cooling. It is mounted in the refrigerant loop and ensures the balanced operation of the evaporator, eliminates coil flooding or starvation, and assists in maintaining the constant level of superheat.
