Description
The York S1-02545210000 Thermal Expansion Valve controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator coil to aid in the appropriate heat exchange. It is used in HVAC equipment to measure refrigerant according to the load conditions which allows it to maintain the appropriate pressure and temperature to ensure the proper operation of the cooling. The valve has an adjustable setting and 3/8-inch by 5/8-inch ODF connections which are designed to give the valve accurate control and optimal performance. It is installed in the refrigerant circuit and assists in maintaining stable operation of the system.
