This York S1-025-37420-240 Crankcase Heater Belt is essential to get the out of the HVAC system and ensure that the system does not let you down when it is cold. This component is designed to be placed around the crankcase of the compressor so as to maintain a constant heat so that the refrigerant does not thicken in cold climates. This 70W, 240V belt maintains crankcase heat for smooth compressor starts and efficient running while the previous belt with 90W, 240V was too hot to touch. Regulates the temperature in the compressor crankcase thus preventing hard start and reducing the strain on the compressor.
