Description
The York S1-02435311000 Air pressure switch is used in HVAC systems. This SPNO switch turns on when the air pressure drops to -0.65” WC. It tracks fluctuations in pressure inside equipment used in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning such as furnaces, air handlers, and ventilation. When the pressure reaches the set pressure, the switch turns off, to perform a particular action which may include starting or stopping a fan or actuating an alarm. This has the effect of correctly ventilating and running the system. Advantages include the ability to minimize HVAC system degradation, increase energy efficiency by guaranteeing that specific components are running when necessary, and increase safety by identifying possible airflow problems.
