The York S1-022-08912-000 is a high capacity thermal expansion valve (TXV) which is suitable for use in HVAC systems. This TXV has a size of 5/8” X 1-1/8” and a 60” capillary tube and is designed for use with refrigerants such as R22 and supports systems up to 10 ton The TXV is responsible for controlling the flow of refrigerant to the evaporator coil for the required heat exchange and efficient cooling. It properly adjusts the refrigerant flow depending on the cooling requirements to keep the correct pressure and temperature in the evaporator qualifying high and low refrigerant feed rates.
