Description
The York 1NP0460 LP Conversion Kit is designed for the conversion of York centrifugal chillers initially designed for high-pressure refrigerants such as R-11 or R-123 to work with low-pressure refrigerants such as R-1233zd. This conversion allows existing chiller installations to take advantage of the environmental and energy efficiency advantages of low-pressure refrigerants while requiring relatively limited upgrades of equipment. These include new compressor impellers, modified diffuser assemblies, and new controls to enhance performance with the new refrigerant. Through this conversion, building owners can achieve environmental conservation, and energy conservation and also enhance the durability of existing chiller systems.
