Description
The York 025-53822-000 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used to control the refrigerant flow to the evaporator. The valve can be adjusted to control the refrigerant supply to the evaporator based on the HVAC systems, load and temperature. It works with a sensing bulb and an internal diaphragm, which reacts to the temperature of the suction line in order to regulate the opening of the valve. With a 1-5/8″ ODF copper tube fitting, it is useful in ensuring that the refrigerant line is properly connected. It is used in metering sections which are usually air conditioners and refrigeration units.
