Description
The York 025-40273-008 Ambient Temperature Sensor Ycal is used in HVAC systems, especially in air-cooled liquid chillers and temperature control systems. Depending on the physical characteristics of the sensed parameter, this sensor which is devised to monitor temperature steadily and consistently probably employs a thermistor or an RTD as its sensing component. In this case, the sensor provides useful information to the control unit of the HVAC system through the monitoring of temperature fluctuations. This information is useful for enhancing the performance of the system, enhancing energy utilization, and regulating environmental conditions.
