Description
The Xylem-Bell & Gossett V1001083 Strainer is used to remove particles, and debris from liquid flows before they get to delicate areas of the system. By pushing fluid through a screen of mesh, which traps solids but allows liquid to go through with minimum restriction. These are placed in the piping systems before pumps, valves, and heat exchangers and blockages. It is used to maintain continuous circulation in the hydronic and chilled-water circuits of the HVAC systems and contributes to the effectiveness of the circulating equipment.
