Description
The Weil McLain 510300013 Spill Switch is a temperature and vent switching unit used to monitor flue gas conditions in heating equipment assemblies. It is rated for 24V operation and set to respond at approximately 210F, opening the circuit when abnormal heat or venting conditions are detected and requiring manual reset before restarting. In HVAC systems it is commonly applied in gas-fired boilers where it is positioned near the draft hood or vent outlet to observe exhaust flow conditions. The switch is integrated into the safety circuit of the appliance, interrupting operation during improper venting situations.
