Description
The Watts F121409 1″ Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve LF40L-2 is used to supports prevent the overheating and overpressure of water heaters and boilers in HVAC systems. It is set to open at 150 PSI system pressure or when the water temperature is above 210°F to release fluid to avoid unsafe operating conditions. It is mounted directly on the tank or pressure vessel and operates as part of the safety control loop of the system to assist in keeping the acceptable pressure and temperature limits within acceptable limits during normal operation.
