Description
Watts 740 Boiler Pressure Relief Valve 0383542 is used to regulate excess pressure by discharging water or steam when element limits in HVAC systems are reached, with 2″ inlet and 1-1/2″ outlet connections, a 2,900,000 BTU capacity, and a set pressure of 30 PSI to discharge pressures. It works on a spring-loaded system where it opens when the internal pressure exceeds the set limit and closes when the conditions are safe. It is installed on the connection point of the boiler or pressure vessel, and it connects to the system to offer direct pressure relief.
