Description
The Watts 0556050 Pressure Relief Valve is an essential safety part meant for safeguarding HVAC systems against overpressure. Working as an automatic safety relief part it is designed to open and let out pressure when it reaches a certain level, in this case, 150 PSI. This is to avoid system failure which may be instigated by pressure that may build up within the system. The valves comprises a 3/4” Male National Pipe Thread inlet connection and a 3/4” Female National Pipe Thread outlet connection to enable coupling with other pipes of different systems. As it is one of the LF4L series, this pressure relief valve is widely applied to boilers, water heaters and hydronic heating systems.
