The Watts 0275404 1” Pressure Relief Valve which is used to protect the HVAC system equipment, including boilers and water heaters from excessive pressure. It is an essential for controlling the operating parameters of these systems to within safe limits. It comes with a 1” female National Pipe Thread for the connection to other compatible piping systems. The valve has been set to open and release pressure as soon as pressure rises to 125 PSI to avoid the pressure to rise to dangerous levels. Designed able to handle a capacity of up to 3,215,000 British Thermal Units, this valve is ideal for numerous and large heating systems.
