The Watts 0121602 Temperature & Pressure Relief Valve is a safety part which serves an essential purpose of preventing overpressure and high temperature conditions damaging HVAC systems. This 1.5” valve is made of lead-free copper silicon alloy as designed for systems that have pressure between 75 – 150 PSI and temperature up to 210°F. Its main purpose is to relieve pressure and heat in excess so that the system equipment such as boilers, heat exchangers and piping are not damaged or have to undergo early failure.
