Watts 0121558 2” Pressure Relief Valve is a part recommended for more than 7777000 BTU powerful HVAC systems. Used to guard equipment against pressure fluctuations that may be hazardous, this valve functions between 30 and 150 PSI. Made from non-toxic copper silicon alloy it provides durability and effectiveness. In case of system pressure rises above the setpoint, the valve opens and safely discharges the excess pressure to avoid pressure vessel failure such as boiling and pipe burst.
