Description
The Watts 0006643 Washing Machine Shut-Off Valve controls water flow to a component by opening or closing the connected supply passage. Its internal mechanism is manually actuated to start or stop water delivery through the valve body, providing an isolation point within the water supply line. It interfaces with the incoming water connection and the hose leading to the washing machine, allowing the supply path to be controlled separately. In plumbing systems serving laundry equipment, it is used as the water-control point. Its shut-off action interrupts flow when the connected supply line needs to be isolated.
