The Trane WHL03174 Blower Wheel/Impeller is a curved airflow component that circulates air through the blower section, supporting the circulation across heating and cooling equipment in HVAC systems. It is a rotating part with an FC 24-36 LAU configuration, it pulls air into the wheel and pushes it out through the housing. The curved blade design enables constant air flow under moderate pressure levels, which assists in ensuring a balanced airflow. It is mounted on the motor shaft in air handlers, or furnace units and is aligned and clamped during installation to allow the motor to rotate freely.
