The Trane CTR2729 Contactor 3-Pole is an electromagnetic device that is used in controlling electrical current in Ventilation, Air Conditioning as well as Heating apparatus. In this respect, it regulates the flow of electric current to motors, compressors, and other high-current loads as a part. As an electromagnetic switch, the contactor uses the control voltage applied to open or close circuits through the electromagnet. It has a working temperature of 23°F – 131°F and a frequency that supports 50Hz and 60Hz. The model has three poles and a rated voltage of 120V and has robust electrical contacts suitable for many HVAC applications.
