Description
The Trane VAL7632 Thermal Expansion Valve is one of the most important components in the process of cooling. The TXV employs a thermal sensor bulb linked by a capillary tube which regulates the amount of refrigerant that is admitted into the evaporator coil depending on the temperature. This makes sure that the coil is able to absorb heat without icing up and causing your system to fail or be damaged. The valve itself has sweat connections for easy installation and the valve is made from stainless steel, compatible with R-22 refrigerant and capable of handling up to 500 PSI. Another advantage is the ability to set the 30% bleed function that allows monitoring and controlling pressure.
