The Trane VAL7562 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is an integral part of your Trane air conditioning system, Unlike simple on/off valves, the TXV is extremely essentialin providing efficient cooling. Using a thermal sensor bulb that is connected to the TXV by a long, thin capillary tube (36” for the VAL7562), the coil absorbs heat effectively without icing up and causing your system to fail. and keeps your system safe. This has sweat connections to facilitate installation and has no leak architecture for proper control of the refrigerant. Made of stainless steel, it is ideal for R-22 refrigerant, pressure tested to 500 PSI. Trane TXV is usually used in large air conditioners with a cooling capacity of 3 tons.
