Description
The Trane VAL4222 is a thermostatic expansion valve (TXV) that is used in air conditioning, heating and ventilating (HVAC) systems, which use R22 refrigeration fluid. It employs a temperature sensing bulb installed at the out of the evaporator coil section. With an increase in the temperature of the coolant leaving the evaporator coil, the TXV opens further to let in more refrigerant. This is an ideal product for use in larger homes and small commercial buildings and its capacity cannot exceed 2.5 ton.
