Description
The Trane VAL19486 is a thermal expansion valve for HVAC systems with one ton of cooling. Its function of controlling the flow of the refrigerant is indispensable in the process of efficient and optimal performance. The TXV allows more flow when cool refrigerant enters the evaporator coil. The TXV limits flow on the other hand, because when the refrigerant warms up, it stops liquid from getting into the compressor and potentially damaging it. The system has this exact control, maximizing efficiency and keeping the optimum cooling temperature. This TXV is a straight through design with ODF connections.
