Description
The Trane VAL19040 is a 2-1/8 inches service valve 400 PSI used in industrial refrigeration systems. This acts as a shut-off which enables the refrigerant to be isolated and controlled in the system. These valves are usually used in HVAC systems during service or when some part of the equipment needs to be serviced while the rest of the system continues to operate. The Trane VAL19040 is made of forged brass and it is designed to handle high pressure up to 400PSI. It is flexible to assure a leak-proof seal of the valve’s stem packing in case of the refrigerant leakage. The VAL19040 can therefore be installed easily in confined spaces which are characteristic of most industrial refrigeration applications.
