Description
The Trane VAL12836 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used in medium to large commercial refrigeration systems and is usually used in refrigeration systems with a capacity of 20 tons and above. This important part serves as a regulating means, which measures the amount of refrigerant to be admitted into the evaporator. It functions by controlling the amount of refrigerant that flows through the evaporator based on the temperature it picks from it. This means that the internal working of the valve adapts to the change in evaporator load and thereby controls the refrigerant flow and heat exchange. It is the most effective way of achieving the optimum performance of the system, low energy consumption, and high system reliability.
