Description
The Trane VAL11814 is a 2-ton thermal expansion valve (TXV) that is intended to enhance performance of residential and light commercial air conditioning and heat pump equipment utilizing R410A refrigerants. This valve regulates the flow of the refrigerant and acts as a pressure control valve and comes with brazing connectors ODF for easy fitting on the inlet 3/8” and the outlet 1/2”. This valve controls refrigerant flow by functioning as a pressure regulator and includes brazing connectors (ODF) for secure installation on inlet (3/8″) and outlet (1/2″) lines. The thermal actuator is the feature of interest. This self-contained system controls the flow by means of the temperature of the refrigerant leaving the evaporator coil.
