The Trane VAL08704 Thermostatic Expansion Valve (TXV) Outlet is a refrigerant metering component that regulates the flow of liquid into the evaporator in response to change cooling loads. It modulates refrigerant delivery by sensing the evaporator outlet temperature and maintaining the proper superheat level ensuring efficient refrigerant utilization throughout the cooling cycle. Designed for 6-ton systems, it uses 3/8-inch inlet and 1/2-inch outlet connections for proper integration into compatible refrigerant lines.
