Trane VAL08596 5-Ton Thermal Expansion Valve is created to control the flow of refrigerant in heat pump and air conditioning systems. It can be used with R410A refrigerant and is fitted with 5/16″ ODM and 1/2″ ODF tubing ,and regulates the refrigerant flow depending on evaporator load to ensure optimal system pressure and temperature. The valve in HVAC systems is fitted in the evaporator coil circuit, where it controls the flow of coolant into the coil, making the cooling process effective and avoiding compressor destruction.
