Description
The Trane VAL07714 Thermal Expansion Valve (TXV) is used to manage refrigerant flow between the liquid line and evaporator coil in cooling equipment. Featuring a 2-ton capacity, 0.38″ ODF inlet connection and 0.5″ ODF outlet connection, it is installed in HVAC systems to provide accurate refrigerant metering based on operating conditions. The valve respond to temperature changes and adjusts flow to maintain proper evaporator performance during the cooling cycle. Positioned within the refrigeration circuit, it balances system operation, improves heat transfer and maintain consistent cooling output.
