Description
The Trane VAL01917 Natural/Propane Gas Solenoid Valve opens or closes the fuel passage when its coil receives an electrical signal. The 120 VAC, 50/60 Hz coil connects to the equipment control circuit through its wire leads and shifts the internal valve mechanism when energized. Installed within the gas supply circuit, it controls the flow of natural gas or propane toward the combustion assembly. This electrically actuated valve as part of the heating sequence, allowing fuel flow to change according to the control signal in HVAC systems. Its switching action coordinates gas delivery with the operating cycle of the connected equipment.
