The Trane SEP0293 Separator is a particularly designed part for upflow Trane HVAC systems only. It is approximately 12.1 inches long and 7.2 inches wide and is only 5.2 inches high and is an essentialcomponent to manage the airflow and efficiency of the system. In upflow systems, the separator is installed to efficiently separate liquids and gases within the unit. This separation process avoids liquid carryover which is detrimental to the components such as compressors and coils. In this regard, the Trane also protects your heating and cooling equipment and helps it run efficiently by preventing cross-contamination.
