Description
The Trane SEN3167 Flame Sensor is a monitoring component used to detect the presence of a burner flame during ignition and operation. It is applied in heating systems where flame verification is required to ensure proper combustion and prevent unsafe operation. In HVAC systems, this sensor identifies flame conductivity within the burner assembly and sends a signal to the control board to confirm ignition stability. Installed near the burner section, it supports system safety shutdown operations, ignition sequencing and coordinated interaction between combustion monitoring and control circuit.
