Description
Trane SEN0296 is a thermistor temperature sensor for use with Trane HVAC equipment. The flow of water or air through the system must be watched to control temperature. The resistance of the sensor decreases with increasing temperatures and vice versa. This sensor measures this change in resistance to keep a suitable temperature and modulate heating or cooling output. This sensor is used by the HVAC control system to set a proper temperature and modulate heating or cooling output, and has a 4″ probe that reaches into the surrounding area for accurate temperature reading.
