Description
The Trane MOT9229 is a programmed motor, a vital component specifically designed for Trane HVAC systems. Unlike regular motors, it features preset configurations that ensure it works better with Trane furnaces. This single-phase AC motor of 1/2 horsepower provides constant air circulation in the furnace space. It turns in the anti-clockwise direction to facilitate rotor airflow in the heating system. The motor utilizes power ranging from 120 to 240 volts with a conventional frequency of 60 Hertz. It measures 18” long by 8” wide and is, therefore, a relatively large element. Its ODP housing ensures that the motor does not come into contact with dripping liquids hence providing safe operation.
