The Trane MOT18683 is constructed for single phase and fractional horsepower and is used in different HVAC applications. This type of energy propels parts with a mechanical energy kind of energy derived from electrical energy. Some of the most typical uses are furnaces’ inducer motors, condenser fan motors in air conditioners, and evaporator fan motors in heat pumps. The motor uses a voltage of 200 to 230 volts and has the capacity of 1/15 horse power output. The motor shaft rotates at an angular speed of 825 revolutions per minute (RPM) in a counter clockwise (CCW) direction from the shaft extension end. The TEAO enclosure shields the motor from dust and dirt and from dripping liquids, which means the motor is appropriate for tough environments experienced in HVAC systems.
