The Trane MOT18582 is a 1/5 horsepower single-phase electric motor for indoor HVAC applications. It is a 208-230 volts, 825 RPM synchronous speed machine. But it can run at different speeds up to 850 RPM. This motor probably exists in your HVAC system’s inducer motors, condenser fan motors, or furnace blowers. The MOT18582 is a well-known permanent split capacitor motor, which has quiet operation and reliability. They use a capacitor to operate more effectively and increase starting torque.
