The Trane MOT15309 is a high capacity indoor motor which has a horsepower of five horse power and is designed to work under commercial applications for HVAC. Unlike the motors used in residential units, this motor is a heavy duty motor that is capable of driving blowers that move large volumes of air within buildings. It has a base for firm fixing and a horizontal spindle for direct coupling with the blower. The motor’s electrical requirements are as follows the motor is suitable for 208-230V power supply and runs in a 3-phase system. It operates at 13.4 to 12.6 Amps depending on the voltage when fully loaded and 6.3 Amps when starting up.
