The Trane MOT14468 Motor is a high capacity workhorse intended for moving high volume air flow through large HVAC equipment, probably centrifugal fans or blowers for tough applications. This motor is a real powerhouse and has 25 HP, but it is economical, with an efficiency level of 93.6%. That said, this is a workhorse that is made of steel, has ball bearings and is housed in an Open Drip Proof (ODP) type of enclosure that shield it from dripping liquids. This Motor is designed to run on a wide voltage level of 230-460V and has only one speed of 1800 RPM.
