The Trane MOT12244 is a 1/2 horsepower, 115V programmed motor intended for use in Trane heating and air conditioning systems. This permanent magnet motor with ECM technology provides high efficiency and speed control in comparison with other models. In contrast to single-speed motors, the MOT12244 comes with five-speed options, which go up to 1050 RPM. This enables the system to extend the fresh air circulation the cooling or heating requirements have been met to promote comfort and efficiency. An electronic overload protector protects the motor from electrical damage.
