Description
The Trane HTR9493 Belt is a genuine product used to make replacements of this chain in corresponding Trane HVAC equipment. It is a 460V/160W belt probably used within the crankcase heater. The crankcase heater itself is a part of the assembly needed to regulate oil temperatures in the system effective operation. The belt probably operates by converting rotational movement from a motor or pulley to the internal system of the crankcase heater. This rotation could perhaps be critical in either driving a fan or a pump that circulates oil through the heater. The crankcase heater must be properly functional in order to achieve efficiency and longevity of Trane HVAC equipment and therefore a functional Belt is a necessity.
