Description
The Trane FUS2280 is a Time Delay Relay Fuse, a small safety component indispensable for multiple Trane HVAC systems. This small component is only 1.5” long and 0.4” high but it is a significant one. It functions as a two-part system, a 20-amp fuse, and a time delay switch. The time delay adds an extra layer of security to the whole process. In case of short-duration transients that may be expected to occur during normal operations, the time delay gives the system a leeway to handle such spikes without blowing the fuse. This minimizes the occurrences of power failures and helps in the proper functioning of your Trane HVAC systems.
