Description
The Trane FP-DR82 Fieldpiece Leak Detector IR is a handheld instrument designed to detect leaks of refrigerant in the HVAC system by detecting its concentration changes. It uses an infrared detector to pick up an entire spectrum of refrigerants to enable it to accurately identify the points of leakage without responding to oil or water. It features a lighted tip, audible alerts, and display indicators that allow quick response and clear feedback with a sensitivity level of many sensitivity levels and a detection rate of 0.03 oz/yr. It assists in identifying leaks early enough, and contributes to proper maintenance of the system.
